Mr. Anderson was born Sept. 29, 1889, in Clinton, Minn, where he was reared. In 1917 he homesteaded in the Prince Albert, Sask. area. In 1920 he moved to North Dakota. He married Ruby Marion Bowman, Dec. 15, 1921, at Kenmare. Shortly afterward he started the Westside Garage, operating it until retiring in 1974. Mrs. Anderson died in 1973.
Mr. Anderson was a Ward County deputy sheriff, a Kenmare city council member, volunteer fireman and member of Faith Baptist Church, Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Senior Citizens.
Survivors: four sons, Dale, Yuca Valley, Calif., Dean, Havre, Mont., Robert, Cocoa Beach, Fla., and George, Bismarck; six grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Hanah Maidial, Wheaton, Minn. Friends call at the Daniel-sorensen Funeral Home, Kenmare, today from 1 to 7 p. m. and Tuesday from 9 to 11 a. m.
