Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ralph Hodge officiating and burial in Riverside Cemetery.
A native of Pulaski County, he was born April 25, 1909, the son of the late Marian and Dora Compton Weddle. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a civil service technician and engineer with the Corps of engineers. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #8.
Survivors include his wife, Ola Mae Poindexter Weddle, and a brother, Leonard Weddle, Liberty.
