Frank "Rusty" Burns

This is only a memorail to "Rusty".

His body was cremated and his ashes sprinkled into the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, the town he loved so well.

It has been said that "Rusty" committed suicide; but I don't believe this. He supposedly shot himself Sunday 00 00 2012.

My reason for not believing this is because he called me late Saturday evening and told me he planned on coming to our house to record somemore of my old photographs. He said they were too dear to let them slip away.

I don't think he would've said this if he had any idea he was going to commit suicide and a few hours.

A few months prior to his death he came to the house and copied some of my old photographs for 5 hours. He was like a kid with a new toy.
He jokingly asked me if he could put up a cot and stay the night and copy more photos.

He was such a dear sweet friend. I guess I knew him for less than a year; but his kindness and generosity were evident to all that knew him.

I also doubt his suicide, as such, because several months earlier he took Gail, Michael, appx. 40 more friends and me on a cruise up the Tchfunte River. He had been encouraging us to take another trip. He said the folks were so nice. They were our schoolmates from Madisonville Jr. Hi.

He also had a new grandbaby that wasn't even a year old.

So much to live for.
