Former Resident Brought Here for Burial Wednesday

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Third ward chapel for Hans Henry Peterson, 61, a former Richfield resident, who died at his home in McGill, Nevada, Friday evening of a cerebral hemorrhage.
R D Buchanan of the ward bishopric took charge of the services. Speakers were Patriarch H J Hansen and G W Coons. A quartet composed of Mrs Reginald Peterson, Mrs A B Robinson, Mrs Harold Nielson, Mrs Roy Christensen, LeRoy Hatch, Roy Christensen and Clarence Littlewood furnished the music, which included the selections "Beautiful Home," by ladies of the quartet, and "My Jesus as Thou Wilt," and "Behold Tis Eventide," by the full quartet. Mrs Robinson sang "After While."
The opening prayer was by Chas L Bean; the benediction by P C B Peterson. Interment was in the city cemetery, where G W Coons dedicated the grave.
Mr Peterson was born in Richfield, and made his home here most of the time until he moved to Nevada 13 years ago. He is survived by his widow; three sons, Percy, Allen and Chad Peterson; two daughters, Mrs D H [Cleo] Tidwell and Mrs H L [Wanda] Caldwell, and eight grandchildren, all of McGill; one sister, Mrs H K Neill of St George; four brothers Andrew Peterson of Salina; Niels Peterson of Richfield, Lars Peterson of Junction, and Peter Peterson of San Pedro, California.
