Mr. Charles William Barcus was married to Miss Effie Myrtle Bartlett on 28 Aug 1910 in Linn County, Oregon and after a few years of farm work they moved to San Mateo County, California. He was 29 when they were married. She reports to be born in California, 21 Sept 1882 and died in the City of San Francisco on 12 Nov 1973. It appears they never had children.

His remains were returned to Pine Grove Cemetery in Linn County, Oregon for burial.
