Miss Jean Marie Acree, 78, of Memphis, retired social worker with the old Bureau of Childrens Services, died at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ava Marie Home after a long illness. Services will be at 1 pm Saturday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Memphis State University and Tulane University. She leaves two sisters, Mrs Betty Bridges of Memphis and Mrs Helen Killett of Blytheville Ark., and a brother George Acree of Batesvillle, Miss.
