Dorothy O. Barry, 87, of St. James, formerly of Iberia, died Tuesday, May 6, 1986 at the Missouri Veterans Home where she had lived the past several years. She was born Sept. 9, 1898, in Iberia to Will and Adeline Thompson Osborn. On Dec. 27, 1922, she was married in St. Louis to Homer Barry, who died April 3, 1963.

She was a member of Iberia Post 105 of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Iberia Congregational Christian Church of Christ.

A niece, Leona Keeth, survives at Iberia.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Earl Basil Brown officiating. Burial was in the Iberia Cemetery under the direction of Stevin-Mossman Funeral Home.
