Marjorie Frances Eden was born March 13, 1919 to Victor and Ellen (Johnson) Eden. She first married Robert J. Martin, by whom she had two daughters, Nancy Ellen and Susan Elizabeth. They joined First Presbyterian on April 2, 1950. She transferred her membership on January 14, 1965 to Peace United Church in Duluth. At the time of the transfer, her husband Robert is not listed. Therefore, they may have been divorced, or he had died. Her second husband was Thorolf (Ted A.) Anderson. They were married by July, 1971, when the obituary of her mother Ellen Margaret was posted.

Marjorie spent the majority of her career as a legal secretary working for the Fryberger Buchanan Smith & Frederick law firm until her retirement in 1976. She was a former longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church. Her compassion, sense of humor and love for her family will be sadly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted in 1992; and daughter, Nancy in 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Martin of Duluth; grandaughter, Lynda (Matt) Glasgow of Ferndale, Mich.
