George Prentes Lewis was the 6th child of Jonathan Lewis and Jane Turnmire. He was born 24 Nov. 1872 in Putnam Co., MO. (although his obit says Johnson Co., MO) He married Sarah Ellen Stiles on 19 Nov 1891 at Unionville, Putnam Co., MO.
George and his family moved to Montana prior to 1915. They later moved to Little Rock, Ark and from there, they moved to Nampa, ID in 1946. George died on Saturday 8 Oct 1949 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Ruggles.
They had 6 children.
