Lafayette served with the Union in the 7th Regiment, Pennsylvania Cavalry, Company G during the Civil War. Lafayette died December 16, 1901, in Liberty Grove, Cecil County, Maryland. Mrs. Nancy Bradley, widow of Lafayette Bradley, died Sunday at her home at Liberty Grove, aged 83 years. she had been in precarious health for months past.
Five daughters survive: Ida and Emma Bradley, at home; Mrs. Cordelia Frank, Media; Mrs. Elizabeth West, Rowlandville, and Mrs. Alphonse Robertson, Philadelphia. Samuel Smith, of Oxford and James Smith are brothers, and Mrs. Sara Bailey, Neb., and Mrs. Mary McFadden, Jenersville, are sisters of the deceased. She was the daughter of James and Sarah Ann Smith.
The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon, with interment at West Nottingham Presbyterian cemetery.
