Spartanburg, S.C. - Ms. Casonya Lakia (Ki-Ki/Clover) Boyce, of 203 Briarcliff Road, was born October 26, 1974. She departed this life Thursday, March 22, 2012. She was the daughter of Helen P. Davis and Warren L. Perrion, Jr. She was a member of New Day Baptist Church and was a faithful and dedicated member of "The Voices of Praise Choir".

She attended Pine Street Elementary, McCracken Junior High and Spartanburg High School. She graduated from USC Upstate with a degree in Childhood Elementary Education. She later attended Converse College and received her Master's Degree, even while a cancer patient.

She taught at Park Hills Elementary for 13 years and was transferred to Cleveland Elementary in 2011 where she taught until declining health in February 2012. She dearly loved her "Babies" and co-workers and was very loved by them.

She is survived by a daughter, Tiyana Davis; granddaughter, Ta'Niyuh Davis Smith; two sisters, Shaquanna Peak and Ciji L. Davis; maternal grandmother, Willie Ruth Martin; paternal grandmother, Wilma P. Atchison; three aunts, Gwendolyn E. Perrion, Brenda K. Jones and Annie R. Thompson; two uncles, David Boyce of Columbus, Ga. and Leon Boyce of Spartanburg, S.C.; a faithful devoted friend for 30 years, Lisa B. Smith; two nieces, Travia Legg and Kiaryn Morman; two nephews, Shonquez Caldwell and Zaiquis Mullins; and Gary L. Walton, known as "Pa-Pa Gary".

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 25, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at the New Day Baptist Church. Rev. James L. Hailstock will officiate. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the home.
