Ricky Joe Dean, 53, of Kenton, TN, formerly of Tiptonville, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at his residence.
He was an employee for the City of Kenton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Dean of Kenton; a daughter, Linda Nelson of Kenton; a son, Brandon Nelson and wife, Ashia, of Trimble; a sister, Candace Dean of Tiptonville; four brothers, Stanley Dean, Timmy Dean and Eddie Dean, all of Tiptonville and Jackie Dean of Dresden; and four grandchildren, James Nelson, Gage Challender, Eli Challender and Blayron Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Barbara Mayfield Dean; a sister, Jamie Dean; and two brothers, Jimmy Dean and Gary Dean.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Nelson, Richard Brown, Ricky Morgan, Tommy Dean, Jim Donnell and Harvey Donnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Rock and Tyler Jackson.
