Harold Jay Dismukes (Tumbleweed) a Veteran of the Korean Conflict was born August 28, 1931 to Earl and Lillian Dismukes in Granger, Texas, and died on May 7.

His survivors are wife, Barbara Dismukes, children; Randy Dismukes (Lori), Steven Dismukes and Brenda Evans(Jeff), brother; Richard Dismukes(Shirley), sisters; Peggie (Sister Renie) Sternberg(Claude), Judy Watson, 5 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, countless friends and in-laws. He left behind his beloved friend Maggie Mae, his rat terrier.

Thank you to his special angels Cheryl McNeely, Alberta from the VA and Hospice of Austin.

Visitation will be 11:00am Friday, May 11, 2012. Funeral Services will be 1:00pm at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be 3:30pm Friday, May 11, 2012 at Knobbs Springs Cemtery.
