MaryLee Rouse, 72, of Hannibal, died at 3:38 A.M. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at her home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 31, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Deacon Gene Pierceall will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Visitation will be from 12 P.M. until time of service Saturday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rouse was born April 9, 1936, in Hannibal, MO., to C. Clark and Josephine Marie Hull Bush. She was married to Jim Rouse on August 1, 1954 in Hannibal, MO. He survives. Other survivors include: one daughter: Annette Stevenson (David) of Ashland, MO., one brother: Jim Bush of Hannibal, MO., one sister: Catherine Duncan (Gene) of Quincy, IL., two grandchildren: Eric and Ethan Stevenson, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rouse was preceded in death by her parents.
MaryLee was a homemaker, and liked to garden and spend time with her grandchildren. The holidays were special to her and she loved to decorate her house both inside and out. Mrs. Rouse was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Birthright of Hannibal, in care of James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
