Albert Senius Nielsen

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon in the Richfield First ward chapel for Albert Senius Nielsen, 60 former Richfield resident, who died of a heart ailment Sunday morning in a Salt Lake Hospital.
Bishop Junius F Ogden conducted the services. Speakers were President Carl Patten of the Santaquin-Tintic stake; Fred Hansen superintendent of the Tintic Standard mine and F M Ogden of the Sevier stake presidency.
The First ward Relief Society chorus in charge of Mrs Arthur Ence, with Mrs Lizzie Hansen as accompanist, sang "Sometime We'll Understand," A solo, "Face to Face," was sung by Talmage DeLange, accompanied by Mrs Hansen. Owen Bingham, accompanied by Mrs Wm Osborne, played a cello selection, "A Perfect Day." "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose," was sung by Drews Anderson of Salina, accompanied by Mrs Rasmussen. A trio composed of Mrs L A Poulson, Mrs Otto Anderson and Mrs Vern Blomquist sang "Going Home." The invocation was by Ferd Peterson; the benediction by Daniel Peterson. Bishop Tippetts of Elberta dedicated the grave, interment being in the Richfield cemetery.
Pall bearers were friends from Dividend and Elberta--James Hansen, Frank Watkins, Daniel Manson, Ambrose Nord, John Hodges and Paul Woolfe.
The expressions of visiting speakers with reference to Mr Nielson's activities, and the many beautiful floral tributes were very gratifying to friends in Richfield.
A native of Denmark, Mr Nielsen was born August 8, 1879, and emigrated to Richfield with his parents, Soren and Anna Kristine Jensen Nielsen, 55 years ago. Until 1929 he lived in Richfield but had since resided in Dividend, where he served as a mine foreman until his recent illness.
