In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Children's Harbor of Lake Martin.

WWA as he was known by his DOT brothers, was a man's man living life with integrity and honor having donated over 32 gallons of blood to the Alabama Red Cross, having built the ball fields of Eclectic and by the town council proclamation named in his honor, Aaron Park in 1978. Warren enhanced the Eclectic Water Board by obtaining federal grants and matching funds to access water from the Tallapoosa River also serving on the board of directors, he was selected as Alabama's State Employee of the Year in 1984. He was also selected to be a Torch Bearer of the 1994 Summer Olympic Games held in Atlanta. Warren competed in the Senior Olympics for many years, winning many gold, silver and bronze medals in countless events. The town of Eclectic bestowed the distinct honor of being named the Grand Marshall for the annual Christmas Parade in 2017. At DOT, serving Alabama for 51 years, Warren left "The Book", a set of guidelines still used to this day by engineers and contractors throughout the state. But most importantly he was an honest, straightforwardness, loving man, son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and veteran of our Untied States Armed Forces. Coach Aaron, some called him "the Bear", was known by many girls and boys whose lives he touched, through sports and through relationships with his 3 children. Warren Aaron is a pillar of our community and contributions continue to be a positive impact on the city of Eclectic, Alabama. He loves God, his church family at Church in the Pines, Children's Harbor as an Anchor Society Member. May he rest in peace knowing that he made this world a better place.
