Lookadoo, Oda E. age 84, of New Martinsville, WV, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, OH.
He was born June 21, 1927 in Point Cedar, AR, a son of the late Henry and Annie Rowe Lookadoo.
He was a retired Power Supervisor at Ormet Corp., Hannibal, OH, a member of the First Baptist Church, New Martinsville, Jaycee's, and a Boy Scout Leader. He was a Merchant Marine in WWII and Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Ruby M. Lookadoo; 2 brothers, Doyle and Waldo Lookadoo; 3 sisters, Lois Cormack, Lota Mae Cook, and Edwinna Cooper.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip (Tracey) Lookadoo of DC and Roger (Janny) Lookadoo of New Martinsville; one daughter, Anna Lookadoo of FL.; a brother, Ray Lookadoo and a sister, Ozella Melugin; 9 grandchildren; Lashell Davis, Eric (Regan) Lookadoo, Matt Lookadoo, Emmaly Dawson, Rachel Lookadoo, Katy Dawson, Christa (Franklin) King, Madison Lookadoo, and Hayley Lookadoo and 9 great grandchildren, Hunter, Chase, Trey, & Hayden Davis, Camryn, Logan & Brady Lookadoo, Aleeya & Rylee Lookadoo. Many loving brothers and sisters–in-law, nieces and nephews. Oda's extended "family"; the wonderful folks at Woodsfield Nursing and Rehab.
