Brownlow Byers, age 83, of the Central Union community in Clinton County, died Monday, May 31 in the Clinton County War Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae Byers; two sons, Bill of Albany and Porter of Cleveland, Texas; six daughters, Ivena Phillips, Minnie Catron, Bineta Grogan, Marie Eurick, Ruby Beaty, all of Hoopeson, Ill., and Lola Fields of Elizabethtown, Ky. Two sisters, Sona Sandusky of Albany and Nora Chambers of Erie, Penn. Two brohter Belknap of Albany and D.C. (Bud) of Monticello.
Funeral services were conducted at the Central grove Baptist Church, June 3 with Bro. George Shelton officiating. Burial was in the Central Grove Cemetery.
