Sgt. John P. Huling, 25, of West Chester, Ohio, died May 6 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif. Beloved husband of Priscilla Huling. Loving son of John Huling and Debbie Huling (nee Zile). Dear brother of Justin Huling and Lauren Huling Coach. Grandson of Grace Zile and the late Charles Zile. Uncle of Tyrah Brown, Destiny Brown, Jasmine Coach, Christopher Coach and Justin Coach. Son-in-law of Cindy Sanchez. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. J.P. was an EOD (Explosive, Ordnance, Disposal) Technician and died Sunday, May 6, 2012 protecting our freedom and serving his country. Visitation Monday, May 14, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Moeller High School, 9001 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 15, 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 11144 Spinner Ave., Sharonville, OH 45241. Interment at Arlingtion National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675 (woundedwarriorproject.org).
