Clarence Ernest Hixon, 83, of 805 SW Fourth St, died Monday, Feb 25, 1974 at Southern Oregon General Hospital. Born July 31, 1890 in Englevale, Kan. He had lived here since 1934.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in L. B. Hall Memory chapel with the Rev. Stanley A. Belton of First Baptist Church officiating. Private burial rites will be in Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include the widow, Ora and a son, Marvin, both of Grants Pass; two daughters, Orpha Marsland, Salem; and Verla Bradford, Medford; a sister, Nellie Hixon; and a half-sister, Blanche Byerley, both of Guymon, Calif; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
