Rasmus N. Jensen
SIGURD, Sevier County, April 29 - Rasmus N. Jensen, 72 died at his home in Sigurd Thursday at 1:30 a.m. following a short illness.
He was born May 1, 1875, at Parowan, a son of Rasmus and Annie Margaret Nielsen Jensen. He married Amelia Nielsen Oct. 18, 1895 at Richfield.
Surviving are his widow and seven sons and three daughters, Earon A. Jensen, Cresent, Salt Lake county; Marion R., Floyd J. and Lloyd E. Jensen, Sigurd; Eldon L. Jensen, Murray; Golden D. Jensen, Richfield; Elmo E. Jensen, Ogden; Mrs. Ila M. Carter, Sigurd; Mrs. Mida W. Bertola, Price; a brother Joseph Jensen, Sandy; 36 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Sigurd ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Thad Nebeker, bishop. Burial will be in the Richfield city cemetery under direction of the Neal S Magelby Mortuary, Richfield. Friends may call at the family home Sunday from 10 a.m. until service time.
