Velma I. Bayne died Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Hospital. She was the daughter of William A. Spencer and Sara B. (Frankum) Spencer. Born in Vandalia Missouri she had lived in the Kansas City Area for 50 years. Mrs. Bayne worked for Harold Gale Display Inc. before she retired. She was a member of the First Calvary Baptist Church. She leaves two daughters; Mrs. Helen J. Dlsea of Lenexa and Mrs. Gerry Sellers Belmont, Calif. two sisters, Mrs. Gerogia McKinley, Kansas City and Mrs. Myrtle Schulze, Vandalia. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 12:30pm Wednesday at the Floral Hills Chapel, burial in Floral HIlls Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Tuesday at the Chapel.
