Horatio Berry "Tim" Jenkins was a son of William Franklin "Bud" and Carrie S. Parham Jenkins. He had one full sister, Cecil Marie Jenkins Suter, and 6 half-siblings: Ligon, Allie Mae Jenkins Ligon, Solon, Logan Thompson, Scoby and Annie.

His daughter, Linda, shared with me that H.B.'s nickname "Tim" came from someone teasingly calling him "Tiny Tim" even though he was 6'4". He went by that name the rest of his life.

He was married twice: 1st to Alice Thelma Earhart by whom he had one son, Horatio Berry, Jr., who only lived 6 months.

His 2nd marriage was to Thelma Laverne Lemmer (daughter of Andrew Emerson & Bethenia Mae Sneed Lemmer). They had 2 daughters, Margaret (b. 1933) and Linda (b. 1939--a week after Tim's death) and a twin of Linda whom Thelma miscarried in the Fall of 1938 before Linda was born in early 1939.

Linda also told me Tim's father-in-law, Andrew Lemmer, made the gravemarker that adorns his burial plot.

A HUGE "Thank You" to MHN for providing so much information about Horatio's siblings.
