Per LARRY's wishes, his body has been cremated.
A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at PINE HILL CEMETERY, Des Moines, Saylor Township, Polk County, Iowa.
LARRY was born November 4, 1931 to Dorothy (EVANS) and Gifford ALLEN.
LARRY graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1950.
LARRY retired from John Deere as an electrician after 30 years of service.
LARRY was very skilled at building things and using his hands and he loved splitting firewood.
