Charles Crawford, 82, Expires Thursday at Home Near Winamac: Royal Center, July 31-Charles W. Crawford, 82, of five miles west of Winamac, died at 2:30 this afternoon at his home after a two years' illness. Born March 1, 1870, in St. Ann, Ill., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Crawford. He came to Indiana in 1883. On March 1, 1900, he married Mary Harrison, who survives. The couple lived in their present home for 52 years. He was a member of the Indiana Conference, Seventh-day Adventists. Survivors with the wife, Mary, are two sons; Roy W. and Everett C., both of Winamac, and four grandchildren. One daughter died in infancy. The body will be taken from the Harrison funeral home to the residence Friday afternoon where friends may call. Final rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Grass Creek EUB church and burial will be in the Grass Creek cemetery.
