A native of Oconee County, Ms. Gibson was the daughter of the late Rufus and Genelia Watkins Gibson. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Ms. Gibson was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Ms. Gibson is survived by: Daughter: Ruby M. Spencer of Seneca, SC; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, Ms. Gibson was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Thursday, February 14, 2008 from Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Walhalla.
The family will receive friends from 3-4:00 PM, Thursday, February 14, 2008 prior to the service at Davenport Funeral Home.
Flowers are accepted.
