Shirley Virginia Fortier Tebbs Maupin, age 64, passed away peacefully April 26, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born November 19, 1927, in Salt Lake City Utah to Walter N. and Phoebe Henderson Fortier. She married Calvin C. Tebbs August 14, 1948; divorced in 1967. She married Robert E. Maupin October 22, 1975. Shirley was a dental assistant to Dr. JunKurumada for more than 20 years. Member of the LDS Church, and was quite active in the Scouting programs. An avid sports person, Shirley was the first woman Little League president in Salt Lake City. She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and the outdoors in general. But above all, Shirley was a selfless individual who spent much of her time in helping others. We will miss her greatly!
Shirley is survived by her husband ''Bob'', of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Mrs. Gergory (Joan Dee Tebbs) Merrill, Logan; two sons, Douglas (and Carolyn Miller) Tebbs, and Chris Lee Tebbs, both Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Clyde (Janice Fay) Wardel, Burley, Idaho. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer; and a sister, Joan.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 30,

11 a.m., at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel 3251 So. 2300 East, where friends may call for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Richfield (Utah) City Cemetery, Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
