At his home about two miles north west of Clever Thursday night Dec. 10, 1914. Mr. G. T. Wise aged about 40 years. Burial services were held Friday with interment at the Wise Hill cemetery. Mr. Wise was a brother-in-law of Judge J. Williams of Ozark who was notified Friday morning and left on the morning train for Springfield but the train being more than an hour late in getting to Springfield, Mr. Williams failed to go at all as the train for Clever had left more than an hour before his arrival. He will probably go over the latter part of the week to see the widow who is his youngest sister.
