Janice Marie Adams, 74, of 3766 S. Martindale Road, Vincennes, passed away April 19, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

A 1955 graduate of St. Rose Academy, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Born Oct. 6, 1937 in Vincennes, Janice was the daughter of Charles and Matilda (Mandabach) Yochum. They preceded her, as well as her son, Jim Adams; a sister, Rita Daugherity; a sister-in-law, Norma Yochum; and a brother-in-law, Richard Cunningham.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert Dale Adams, whom she married October 7, 1955; their children, Debbie Phegley, Sandra (Gary) Potter, David (Cena Smith) Adams, Ron (Tina) Adams, and Cathy (Nick) Williams; her grandchildren, Chad Phegley, Derek Potter, Haley Potter, Keith Adams, Courtney Adams, Melissa Adams, Samantha Adams, Dallas Williams, Austin Williams; great-granddaughter, Meeya Sears; a brother, Donald F. Yochum; sister, Marilyn Cunningham; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Doris and Mike Snarr, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. David Martin at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
