Melba L. Greenert, 81, died July 5, 2001, at Golden Plains Health Care Center, Hutchinson.
She was born May 18, 1920, the daughter of Floyd C. and Iona Sears Brock. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a buyer for 22 years with Wiley's Department Store.
She married William Greenert.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Jewel Brock.
Cremation will take place and no service is planned. Inurnment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, Okla.
Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, Hutchinson, is in charge of arrangements.
