Donna Jean Kizer, age 81, of Spring Lake, formerly of Baldwin, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Heartwood Lodge. She was born to the late Donald and Frieda (Phebus) Wagoner on January 20, 1931 in Niles, MI. Donna married Jack Hipshier and he passed away in 1976. She married Kenneth Kizer in Baldwin who also preceded her in death. Donna enjoyed shopping, collecting antiques, crocheting, and knitting towels. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy (Jerry) Johnson of Grand Haven; sons: Jack (Diana) Hipshier of Baldwin, MI and Don (Julie) Hipshier of Livonia, MI; 7 grandchildren; Jason (Rebecca), Amanda, Chad (Christina), Sarah, Jessica, Aaron, Megan, 4 great-grandchildren, Grace, Logan, Gwen, Ryan; sister, Peg (Art) Visser of Niles, MI. Donna is preceded in death by her sisters, Mandabelle Dixon and Mary Brady. Visitation for Donna will be held Saturday, May, 5, 2012 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
