"Ellendale - Services for Effel A. Jensen, 77, of Ellendale will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church. The Rev. M.C. Dronen will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery in Owatonna. Friends may call at Bonnerup & Son Funeral Chapel in Ellendale beginning Tuesday. Mrs. Jensen died Saturday at the Owatonna City Hospital.
She was born May 27, 1899, in Newell, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.P. Olsen. She married John Jensen on October 19, 1929, in Owatonna. She was a housewife, a member of the Lutheran church and the VFW Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 23, 1939, and a sister, Cora.
Survivors include a son, Arne P. of Clarks Grove; a daughter, Mrs. Waylen (Arlene) Busho of Ellendale; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ignar of Ellendale, Forest of Austin, Arvid of Minneapolis and Courtes of Blooming Prairie; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Evelyn) Katzenbuer of Olgivie; and several nieces and nephews."
