Ponca Woman Dies Had Broken Hip
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosalie Quintilla Chappell 83 Ponca who died Thursday at a Sioux City hospital where she was being treated for a hip fracture were held Saturday at Evangelical Free church of Ponca.
Rev Harold Fredrickson officiated with burial in Silver Ridge cemetery at Ponca under the direction of the Mohr funeral home.
Mrs. Chappell the former Rosalie Price was born June 9 1879 in Iowa.
She married George Saxon on June 12, 1906. He died in 1940.
She married Henry Chappell of Jackson in 1943.
Survivors include the widower, three sons, Everett Saxon of Holstein IA, Merle Saxon of Ponca and Clifford Saxon of Longview Wash.; a sister Mrs. Katherine Leininger of North Platte Nebr.; 10 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
