Ronnie Lee South died May 4,2012 at the age of 63. He was born September 25,1948 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to Marvin Ottis and Imogene (Harris)South. He was preceded in death by his father.

Ronnie served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war and received one Bronze Star and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was in the service for 16 years.

He is survived by his mother, Jean South of Denton; one Son, Ronnie South of Pueblo, Colorado; three daughters, Rhonda South Crisp of Denton, Texas, Tina South Espinoza of Lake Dallas,Texas,and April South Spoon of Sanger,Texas; one sister, Kathy South Brown of Kingston, Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be May 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Sanger with burial to follow at 1:00 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Officiating the services will be Gary Bill and serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie R.South, Jay Espinoza, Kevin Spoon, Chance Ming, Jack Skerski, and Mike Brown. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:30PM.
