George Cheney, son of the late R.J. and Martha Cheney of this city, dropped dead in his grocery store in San Francisco yesterday. The funeral will be held at noon tomorrow from the Southern Pacific Station, when the remains arrive in this city for burial in the family plot at Union Cemetery. The deceased was born March 5, 1863, and had operated a grocery store in San Francisco for the past 3 years. Payne-O'Meara are in charge of the funeral arrangements. Rev. Hoyt will conduct the burial service.
