She was born March 9, 1899 in Clay County, Illinois, a daughter of Louis and Alice Jackson. She attended school in Clay county until 14 years of age, when she came to this community, where she spent the remainder of her life.
In 1917 she was united in marriage with William Miller. One son William Eugene passed away in infancy. Her husband, and a daughter, Marie, survive her. She also leaves a grandson; a brother, Charlie Jackson; a half brother and a half sister.
Interment was in Greenhill cemetery.
