LAKELAND - Alvin A. Alderman, age 86, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Highland Lake Center of heart failure.
Mr. Alderman was born December 17, 1925 in Nichols, FL, to Ira & Gertrude (Whidden) Alderman. Mr. Alderman moved to Lakeland one year ago from Ft. Meade. Mr. Alderman was a veteran of the U.S. Navy (W.W.II), a maintenance supervisor for American Cyanamid, a devoted family man and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Alderman is survived by his wife of 60 years Irene Alderman, sons Richard Alderman, Mike Alderman & Randy Alderman, daughter Kristi Lindsay, sister Laverne Vogler, grandchildren Shawn, Garette & Brandon.
Visitation will be Sunday May 6, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Seigler Funeral Home-Hwy. 60 E. Mulberry. Funeral services will be Monday May 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Seigler Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family @
