WILLOW PARK -- George Lee Hogan, 76, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Interment: Merriman Cemetery, Eastland. Visitation: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Platelet Diseases Support Association at www.pdsa.org

George was born in Eastland in 1936 to Lee Hogan and Sarah Casey. He retired from Bell Helicopter in 1983. George was a devoted husband and father that loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his nieces and nephews. He was a principled man of integrity that loved life and family. George enjoyed spending time with his childhood sweetheart and loving wife, Margie Walton Hogan. He was loved and will be missed.

Survivors: Wife, Margie; son, Rod Hogan and wife, Pam, of Aledo; granddaughters, Kandi Baker and husband, Jim and Rachel Coleman and husband, Brandon; great-grandchildren, Seth and Selah Baker, and Urijah Coleman; brother, Roy Hogan and friend, Sarah Brunson; brothers-in-law, Charles Walton and wife, Georgia Ann, Clifton Walton, Weldon Walton, Johnny Walton and wife, Ramona; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
