They eventually settled in Paris, Edgar Co., IL. In 1852 George ( 1818) and his family left for TX. where they lived. He changed his last name from Klinger to Clinger. He married Temperance Ann Ray on 6 Feb 1845 in Paris, Edgar Co., IL. From this marriage they had 11 children. No marker has been found for him in the Llano City Cem. After the death of Temperance on 7 Feb 1869 in Travis Co.,TX., George married Nancy Stora Hilden on 26 May 1874 in Austin, Travis Co., TX. Do not know what happened to her after the death of George. Site of burial site for Temperance not known. Probably on a farm without marker.
