John Cheairs Knox, son of Robert Fee Knox and the former Miss Ida Ophelia Cheairs, was born on January 25th 1900. John was the grandson of Judge Robert C. and Elizabeth [McCain] Knox and of Dr. John Titus Cheairs and Anna [Giddings] Cheairs, all of Monticello, Arkansas.
