Jeffery Lynn Sparks, 47 years of age of Oakwood, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in the Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn. Born March 3, 1965, he was the son Phillip Larry Sparks and Wanda Keene Sparks of Oakwood, Virginia. He had attended SWVCC were he received his CNA Degree, had worked in the food service industry since 1977 and was of the Christian Faith. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and uncle.
Survivors in addition to his parents Phillip Larry Sparks and Wanda Keene Sparks include his wife of 23 years, Sandra Gail Ratliff Sparks; son, Jeffery Phillip Sparks of Oakwood, Virginia; sister Julia Ann Bailes of Oakwood, Virginia; niece Danielle Nicole Odell of Oakwood, Virginia; great-nephew Phillip Lee Odell; great-niece Allison Jean Odell.
Funeral Services for Jeffery Lynn Sparks will be conducted Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel, Keen Mountain, Virginia. Pastor Jerry Wilson and Evangelist Roger Keen will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Esau Rife Cemetery, Keen Mountain, Virginia.
Active Pallbearers will be James Keene, Jason Brown, Timothy Sparks, Christopher Sparks, Harold Keen, Doug Wiser, Justin Odell and Roger Keen.
