Peggy Lee Farrow, 87, a longtime resident of Georgetown, Texas passed away on March 7, 2014. Peggy was born on March 4, 1927 in Austin, Texas to parents Walter and Gertrude Lee Bargsley. Shortly after graduating from Austin High School Peggy married the love of her life, Charles Lowday Farrow Jr.on April 24, 1948, with whom she had two beautiful daughters, Wendy Lee Lentz and Cindy Lou McLendon. Peggy and Charlie pursued multiple business ventures together, such as Pizza Town, Georgetown's first family owned pizza parlor. Pizza Town attracted many customers not only because of the outstanding recipes, but also because of the warm, unique, and comfortable atmosphere provided by the Farrow family. Peggy loved fishing with Charlie on the Pedernales River, traveling to gun shows all over the state of Texas, playing Bunco with her close friends, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Peggy's selfless spirit and unwavering compassion for others led her to hobbies such as volunteering with the First United Methodist Church, where she served on the alter guild and volunteering with Georgetown Hospital where she served as the captain of her volunteer squad for seventeen years. Peggy was known for her vibrant personality which had the power to brighten any room.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Wendy Lentz , five grandchildren: Erin Pehl and husband Stephen Pehl, Micki Marbrough and husband William Marbrough, Austin McLendon and wife Misti Scott, Travis McLendon, and Cooper McLendon. Peggy is also survived by her five great-grandchildren: Nala Marbrough, Shyla Marbrough, Lily Pehl, Hailey McLendon, and Ryder McLendon, and her life-long best friends, Joe and Ann Ogden. She also leaves behind her two sons in law, Jim McLendon and Lloyd Lentz. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Farrow and daughter Cindy McLendon.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11th at FUMC/First United Methodist Church in Georgetown. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
