Gordon Wesley Higgins, 46, of Milwood, W.Va., died Sept. 25 at Jackson General Hosptial in Ripley. He was born June 25, 1952, in Pleasants County to the late W. Wesley and Kathryn Higgins.
He had been a member of Ironworkers Local 818 of Pittsburgh and had been employed by Stewart and Inlow Construction Co.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Higgins; five sisters, Fonda Brothers, Evelyn Rupert and Marshal Felter, all of St. Marys, and JoAnn Skinner and Harriet Higgins of Belmont; one brother, Gerald Cox of St. Marys; several nieces and nephews; and three stepsons.
Services were Tuesday at Ruttencutter Funeral Home in St. Marys with Chuck Boston officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Federal Ridge, Pleasants County.
