EATON,IN--Phyllis E. Breeding, 91, of Eaton, Indiana and formerly of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, IN.
She was born in Delaware County, IN, on April 3, 1921 to Chase and Florence (Chambers) Tuttle. She married Delma Breeding on January 14, 1939 in Muncie, IN, and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1979.
Phyllis retired from Northwood Retirement Community where she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for many years. She attended Cuzco Methodist CHurch and the Methodist Church in Eaton, IN.
Her hobbies were gardening, crocheting, and loved to play cards.
Surviving are five sons, Jerry, Bruce, Michael, Dennis and Phillip; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Janet Naylor; and brother, Donald Tuttle.
Funeral services for Phyllis E. Breeding will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in Cuzco Cemetery in Cuzco, IN. The Rev. John Simmons will officiate. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
