Mrs. Matilda Mae Saxer, 91, Formerly of 1224 Spruce, died Tuesday at Golden Age Lodge. She was born January 5, 1884, in Moberly, Missouri, and had lived in Leavenworth the past 60 years. Her husband, M. Joseph Saxer, Died October 3, 1973.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Leavenworth.
She is survived by one son, Huland Raymond Knight, Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Vargas, 924 Miami; one sister. Mrs. Mary Denton, Norwood, Missouri; and four grand children.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 am, Thursday, at Belden-Sexer-Sumpter Funeral Chapel, 5th and Oak. Burial will be in Mount Muncie Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 5 pm today.
