Jane Adams moved from AL to live with her son John Zachary Adams' family, coming to Texas in 1875 from Lowndes Co. AL. She is buried to the left (southwestly) of son John. Her grave is marked by a large flat concrete vault that lies east to west. The inscription has now worn away and is unreadable, but was readable in 1970 when I first documented it. Jane was 80 years of age. Her parents were born in Ireland.

Gravesite Details

Hand poured flat concrete, someone took a nail and inscribed GGG-Grandmother's death info on the concrete initially & now the inscription has weathered away.
