MARGIE LORENE McFADDEN BUTLER, 85, of Paris, died at 5:39 PM, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Heritage House. A graveside service is set for 10:00 AM, Friday, May 4, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery with Bro. Mark Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Lorene was one of seven children born in Bells, Texas to James Curtis and Mary Will Maroney Boss on June 2, 1926. She graduated from Roxton High School and married William R. McFadden on November 17, 1946. He died September 19, 1989. She later married John C. Butler on April 22, 1992. He preceded her in death November 29, 2008. Mrs. Butler was member of College Church of Christ and she and Mr. Butler were very active in the Red River Valley Fair Association.

Mrs. Butler is survived by two children, Jerry W. McFadden and wife, Diane and Rita K. Giles and husband, Michael; seven grandchildren, Terry McFadden, Jon McFadden and wife, DeLana, Renee Jordan and husband, Justin, Richard McFadden, Rebecca Lee and Steven, Phillip Giles and wife, Tiffany, and Amanda Bailey and husband, Blake; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, William Dale McFadden and a grandson, Darren Ausmus.

Honorary pallbearers are Warren Skeen, James Prater, and Robert Ballard.
