Clara Smith Acre (July 13, 1948)
Mrs. Clara Smith Acre, life long resident of this vicinity, died suddenly about 1:30 am today at her home on Jackson Run Road, aged 73 years. she was born here on February 2, 1875, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Schuler Fehlman, pioneer residents of Warren.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Mae Smith, at home; Mrs Pearl Hansen, Warren and Mrs Christal Legg, Buffalo, NY; also 17 Grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; three brothers and one sister; Mathias Fehlman, Follett Run; Manuel and Harvey Fehlman, Youngsville; Mrs Maude Billman, Pleasant township. Her husband and one daughter, Mrs Effie Vinton, preceded her in death.
Removal has been made to the Leo D. Gibson Funeral Home, where friends may call at the usual visiting hours, starting this evening. Services will be held from there at 2:30 pm Thursday conducted by Dr. HA Rinard and followed by interment in Westview cemetery at Starbrick.
