Mrs. Margaret Cormier, 75, of 2 Highland Avenue, widow of Benoit Cormier, died Wednesday at her home following a long illness. She was born in Cape Ball, N.B., July 22, 1876, the daughter of Thaddee and Florence Veroneau Bourque.
Mrs. Cormier had resided here the past 36 years. She was a communicant of the Holy Family Church and a member of the St. Anne Sodality, Altar Society and the Propagation of the Faith Order.
Surviving are three sons, Alphe and Romeo Cormier of Sanford and Robert Cormier of Chicago, IL; five daughters, Mrs. Lillian Perreault and Mrs. Albert Cantin of Springvale, Mrs. Anita Desrochers and Mrs. Irene Tetreault of Sanford, and Mrs. Sarah Rheaume of Biddeford; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Landry, Brockton, MA; 21 grandchildren and seven great–grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending. Friends may call at the LaFrance Funeral Home, Winter Street.
