TOULON - Angela K. McNutt, 37, rural Elmira Township, died at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at home.
She was born June 12, 1974, in Galesburg, the daughter of Robert Taylor and Karen Mustain Taylor.
Surviving are her parents, Robert (DeeDee) Taylor of Toulon, Karen Taylor (Terry Huff) of Kewanee; her first husband of 14 years, Thomas Hernandez of Kewanee, and their sons, Ethan and Isaac Hernandez, also of Kewanee; brother, John (Stephanie) Taylor of Cambridge; sister, Becky Dodd of Homer, Ill.; stepsister, Sadie (Bailey) DeWolfe of Toulon; grandmother, Helen Mustain of Galesburg; nephew, Miles Taylor of Cambridge; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her second husband of the last seven years, Ira McNutt, to whom she married on March 18, 2005, in Toulon. Paternal grandparents, Miles and Pearl Taylor, and maternal grandfather, Jim Mustain, preceded her in death.
Angela graduated from Kewanee High School in 1992, and then attended Morrison Institute of Technology. She was a dispatcher and correctional officer for the Stark County Sheriff's office and volunteered for Bradford and Toulon Fire departments.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Osceola Grove Cemetery, Osceola. The Rev. Jason Lindstrom will officiate. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, Angela wanted a memorial or a letter of appreciation sent to local police, fire or ambulance service.
